Today offshoring term is close to the heels of global services. More or less, they both are same now. Its time now, that service providers and clients around the world to realize, that this service has to emerge from the best location, without considering that it is from down the street or from tinsel town and regardless of how well-train the offshore team is.

Many of the customers are heedless for the fact that they don’t care much about who is doing offshoring business. All they want is good service when they seek information.  Moreover, they are not acutely aware about the other side of the business story, as in, whether it enhances shareholder value or not. These are some of the factors of which consumer is not bothered about. Take for instance, there is outsourcing work to India, and the fear of security issue crop up, this will now further adds to the already bitter concern about job cuts.

Next thing doing the rounds is about the quality of service, rather than other serious issue of labor arbitrage. Some companies in UK just want to stay apart from outsourcing to India. They post view in order to convey their idea, that they never do business outside the country. It is more to do with the belief that nine out of ten UK consumers don’t find themselves in comfort zone, discussing about their financial details with the third party or offshore office.

Companies across should take a practical view on this issue and accept the fact that there are many different kinds of dealing that a customer may have with a company and it is the type of dealings that will confirm how much success the venture is.

India is now exporting their expertise across the world as many Indian companies have  prove their mettle successfully in some of their core function in outsourcing Many of the top management strategy are talking about the way offshore outsourcing is done successfully in this part of the world.

So this confirms that it is the quality that finally makes the impact and not the location. Hence, quality should be in the list of numero uno to be taken as consideration.
